Anteroom is a journaling app. Your entries are sensitive, and we treat them that way. This page describes what we collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect
- Journal entries you write, and the reflections and session briefs generated from them.
- Wellbeing check-ins (WHO-5 answers and scores).
- An anonymous account id. Anteroom does not ask for your name, email, or phone number. Your account is tied to a random device identifier.
- Subscription status, processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
How your entries are used
Entries are sent to our servers (hosted in the United States) to generate reflections and briefs using a large-language-model provider (Anthropic). Content is processed for that purpose only: we do not sell your data, show ads, or use your entries to train models.
Your controls
- Export: download everything we hold about you from Settings at any time.
- Delete: deleting your account in Settings erases your data from our servers and your device.
What Anteroom is not
Anteroom is not therapy, medical care, or a crisis service, and it does not share data with your therapist - the brief is yours to show or keep.
